In 2014, Gene founded his own sales training and consulting firm, specializing in helping companies in the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Trades industries improve their sales performance.

He has since worked with hundreds of companies, from small local businesses to large national corporations, to help them increase their sales, build lasting customer relationships, and grow their businesses.

Gene Slade is the visionary owner of Lead Ninja Inc., a dynamic company specializing in coaching and training for home service businesses and technicians. Gene’s journey in the HVAC industry began at just 11 years old, and over the past 33 years, he has become a seasoned veteran. He has owned and grown several HVAC companies to multiple 8-figure revenues, proving his expertise and commitment to the industry.

With a deep understanding of sales psychology and a hands-on approach, Gene has empowered countless individuals and businesses to achieve significant growth and success. As a coach and speaker, he captivates audiences with practical insights and actionable strategies, making complex sales concepts accessible and engaging.

Gene is not just a business leader; he is a dedicated family man with six boys. Britney’s positive attitude and tireless energy keep our operations running smoothly. With over a decade of experience in the HVAC industry, she’s a powerful force in the workplace, inspiring others to excel.

Britney Slade is the General Manager at Lead Ninja Inc., bringing over ten years of experience in the HVAC industry to her role. Working closely with the executive team, Britney is a powerful force in the workplace, known for her positive attitude and tireless energy that she uses to inspire and encourage others to work hard and succeed.

Britney draws daily inspiration from her husband, Gene Slade, and their six boys. Outside of work, she enjoys adventurous activities like fishing, skydiving, and four-wheeling, and she treasures the time spent with her family, especially her husband.

Don Johnson

Executive Coach, Lead Ninja

A retired HVAC business owner with a wealth of experience, Don is passionate about training technicians and business owners. His expertise in structuring businesses for success is a cornerstone of our coaching programs.

Don Johnson is an accomplished Executive Coach at Lead Ninja, bringing a wealth of experience from his time at Freedom Heating and Cooling in Birmingham, AL. During his tenure, Don grew the business from startup to an impressive $12 million in residential replacement and service sales, with his team selling over $100 million in HVAC equipment and IAQ.

Don specializes in training technicians to excel in their HVAC careers and guides business owners on structuring their companies to operate independently of daily input. He is also known for his engaging role-playing exercises with technicians, helping them sharpen their skills in real-world scenarios. A strong advocate of Michael Gerber’s E-Myth, Don incorporates many of its concepts into his coaching, teaching others how to achieve the same freedom he found in his own business.

Priyanka Bedi (Monica)

COO, Lead Ninja

Priyanka is the backbone of Lead Ninja’s operations, overseeing systems, automations, and marketing efforts. Her experience in project management and her role as a System Integrations Specialist have been pivotal to our growth.

Priyanka Bedi, also known as Monica by some clients who have trouble pronouncing her name, is the driving force behind many of the operations at Lead Ninja. With her hands in almost everything happening within the company, Monica plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations. Before stepping into her current role, she gained valuable experience as an operations manager with a marketing company.

Priyanka is also a skilled System Integrations Specialist, having worked with Gene Slade for the past six years. Her expertise extends from her previous experience as a project manager for eight years, where she managed website and mobile app development projects.

At Lead Ninja, Priyanka’s contributions include overseeing systems, automations, and marketing efforts, as well as assisting Gene with his appointments. Outside of work, she loves to travel and spend quality time with her husband and son.

Janet’s 28 years in the construction industry and her expertise in corporate filings, bookkeeping, and payroll make her an invaluable asset to Lead Ninja. She ensures that our operations run like clockwork.

Janet Wilcox has been a key member of the Lead Ninja team since 2014. With 25 years of prior experience in the construction industry, Janet has traveled across the United States, managing 8-figure construction deals for major retailers as a project manager. Her expertise now extends to handling all corporate filings, bookkeeping, and payroll for Lead Ninja. Additionally, she serves as Gene Slade’s personal assistant, ensuring that the business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Angel Mahinay has been an integral part of Lead Ninja for the past six years, working closely with Gene Slade. As the Lead Support and Creative Designer, she brings a wealth of experience to the team, having worked as a creative designer since 2003 with expertise in graphics, videos, and websites. In addition, Angel has been providing customer support since 2015, ensuring that clients receive top-notch service.

A dedicated single mom to a beautiful daughter, Angel balances her professional life with a love for travel. She’s also a passionate Harry Potter fan, adding a touch of magic to everything she does.

Social Media Manager, Lead Ninja

Ashley has been a dedicated Social Media Manager at Lead Ninja, bringing over 4 1/2 years of experience in the field. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina, where her journey in digital marketing began, blending her academic background with her natural creativity.

Ashley’s expertise spans content creation, influencer management, and strategic planning, and she has worked across a diverse range of industries, including construction companies, restaurants, and with 7- and 8-figure entrepreneurs.

Outside of her role in social media, Ashley is passionate about wellness and serves as a Nutrition Coach. In her free time, she loves to explore new places, embark on exciting trips, discover unique coffee shops, and stay active.

Gaurav Chanana is an AI and Automations Expert at Lead Ninja, bringing his expertise to the team for the past six months. With a strong background in technical support, Gaurav is the go-to person for any software or hardware needs within the company.

Before joining Lead Ninja, Gaurav ran his own web and mobile app development business, which was deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in the tragic loss of some of his best team members. Despite these challenges, Gaurav continues to excel in his field.

Outside of work, Gaurav enjoys playing games and has a passion for driving. He loves traveling with his family and cherishes the time spent with his wife and child.
